These very unusual Serving Spades are modelled in the hourglass pattern which is double struck, the pattern being on both the front and reverse of the handles. The bowls are modelled in an unusual spade design and the top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest, below the Coronet of an Earl. The Servers are in excellent condition and display a crisp set of hallmarks. The Lias brothers were known for producing quaity flatware.
