The Butter Spade has a heart shaped blade engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The silver section of the handle displays bi-furcated mouldings where it is attached to the blade and an elegant, slender, turned ivory handle. This piece is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
