Queen Anne. A very fine Britannia Standard Dognose Spoon made in London in 1706 by Andrew Archer.
342074
The Spoon is beautifully modelled in the Dognose style and displays a rat tail on the reverse of the bowl. The top of the stem displays a scratch engraved set of marriage initials surrounded by star motifs. The stem is very well marked and this example has a very good bowl and colour.
