PAUL STORR. An extremely rare George III Silver Gilt Wine Label made in London in 1817 by Paul Storr.


The Wine Label is of the heavy die stamped variety and is modelled in the stylised escutcheon form, with a gadrooned border interspersed with Rococo shells, acanthus foliage and an anthemion motif. The label is engraved for CLARET, is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
