182573
The Mug stands on a cast and applied spreading foot and the main body has a slightly baluster form and everted rim. This piece has a plain scroll handle and the front of the main body is engraved with a crisp contemporary cipher. The Mug is in excellent condition, has a very good colour and is very well marked in the foot. Half pint mugs from Newcastle, of this date, are scarce.
