The Sauceboat stands on three hoof feet which are attached to the main body with stylised shell mouldings. The elongated main body has a shaped rim and pronounced pouring spout. This piece is engraved on each side with a set of contemporary script initials. The Sauceboat has a scroll handle, decorated with leaf capping, and is very well marked on the base. The design of this piece, certainly has a Provincial feet to it.
