JAMES I. An early James I Slip Top Childs Spoon made in London in 1605 by the specialist Spoon maker William Cawdell.

The Spoon is made in the rare Childs size and displays a fig shaped bowl and faceted slip top stem. The stem is very well marked and displays a good date letter at the top of the stem and Leopards Head Crowned in the bowl. This piece is in excellent condition, is of a good colour and has a fine bowl. Spoons of this rare size are particularly scarce from this date.
