The Cream Jug stands on a square pedestal foot which is engraved with bright cut and prick dot designs and also displays a beaded circular band. The main body is modelled in the helmet form and has a beaded rim. The sides are engraved with floral and foliate garlands and an upper herring bone border. The front displays an oval bright cut cartouche engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The Jug is in excellent condition, has a reeded loop handle, and is fully marked in the foot.Height, to the top of the handle: 6.5 inches, 16.25cm.Length, handle to spout: 4.1 inches, 10.25cm.Weight: 5oz.
