ELIZABETH I. A very fine Seal Top Spoon made in London in 1572, Makers Mark of FT, with a device between.
163188
The Spoon is of an unusual smaller size and may well have been for a Lady. This example has a good fig shaped bowl and faceted stem. This piece, unusually, has an octagonal baluster seal top, which is palely gilded. The spoon is very well marked on the stem and with the Leopards Head Crowned in the bowl. The Spoon is in excellent condition and has a good colour.
