DUBLIN. A very rare George III Almond Dish made in Dublin in 1803 by Gustavus Byrne.

The Dish stands on an oval flared foot secorated with a corded edge. The deep oval body also displays a corded rim and fine original gilding. This piece in excellent condition and is very well marked. This is the first time we have seen an Irish almond dish and this piece is most unusual in that it stands on an oval foot.
