CHESTER. A very rare George III Drinking Mug made in London in 1776 by Richard Richardson III.
192844
The Mug is plain in design and is of the slightly bellied Can form, which was peculiar to Chester. This piece has a plain scroll handle and gilded interior. The Mug is in excellent condition and shows no sign of erasure. It is very well marked on the base and is of a very good gauge.
