The Caddy Spoon has a die stamped bowl chased with feather plumage. This piece, unusually, displays one of Pugh's trademark fish tail form handles which is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The spoon is in excellent condition. The feather caddy spoon very seldom appears on the market and this is the first time we have seen one by William Pugh, especially with this type of handle, as they normally have the wirework loop design. A similar spoon, with loop handle, can be seen in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 58, figure b.

Length: 3 inches, 7.5cm.
