These very unusual dishes are oval in form with a sunken centre and raised outer rim decorated with a border displaying an eclectic mix of various flower heads. The Dishes are in excellent condition and are fully marked on the reverse. These pieces are of the finest quality and have a good weight. They were probably used for exotic fruits on the dessert table, as dessert was eaten with silver gilt. They, however, lend themselves to a variety of uses today on the dining table.
