An unusual William IV Butter Shell made in London in 1833 by Adey Bellamy Savory.


The Butter Shell stands on three winkle feet and is modelled as a wide scallop shell. The carrying handle is decorated with wide reed and tie designs and scrolls. This section is also engraved with an unusual contemporary Crest. The Shell is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
