An unusual Rattle, Whistle and Teether made in London in 1863 by Roberts & Belk.

The Rattle is of typical form with a shaped central shaft which is chased with vertical lobes, flower heads and foliate designs. The bells are unusually modelled as stylised melons, with alternate chased lobes. The mouth piece is decorated with engraved swirling motifs. This example has its original coral, suspensory ring and is in excellecnt condition.
