An unusual pair pair of George III 'Bat Wing' Salt Cellars made in London in 1791 by Robert Hennell.


The Salts have a very unusual bat wing fluted foot and main body. The edge of the pedestal foot, rim and loop handles are all decorated with reeding. The interiors display fine original gilding and both are well marked in the foot.
