An unusual pair of George III cast Sugar Tongs made in London circa 1770 by Charles Hougham.

The arms of the sugar tongs are unusually decorated with wide linear bands and roundels. The slender lower section of the arms terminate in shell grips and the arched top section is engraved with trailing foliate designs and a set of contemporary initials.
