An unusual George III Wine Label made in London in 1818 by William Elliott.


The Label is broad rectangular in form with a bold gadrooned border displaying Rococo shells in each corner flanked by acanthus foliage. The label is of the heavy die stamped variety and is pierced for CLARET. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
