An unusual George III Octagonal Mustard Pot made in London in 1792 by Robert Hennell

The Mustard Pot is of an unusual octagonal form and is pierced and engraved with an upper and lower band of stylised foliate motifs. The main body and cover are also engraved with various prick dot bands. This example also has a reeded loop handle and plain oval thumb piece.
