An unusual George III Mustard Pot made in London in 1808 by Joseph William Story.

The Mustard Pot is of an unusual rounded rectangular form and stands on a spreading foot decorated with an egg and dart border. The everted rim is decorated with an acanthus, shell and gadrooned border and the domed cover terminates in a stylised urn finial. The Mustard has an oval thumb piece and harp shaped handle. The interior displays fine gilding and the cover is engraved with the Wynne Crest. This piece is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the foot.
