An extremely rare William IV Cast Naturalistic Preserve Spoon made in London in 1831 by Charles Fox.

This unusual Spoon is cast and modelled in the rare naturalistic style. The stem is decorated with crisp scrolls and foliate designs and Rococo shell details at the top of the stem. The reverse of the stem is unusually decorated with blue bell drops and displays a tear drop cartouche engraved with a contemporary double Crest. The bowls are cast to simulate shells and have a matted surface. The quality of design and production is exceptional which would be expected from this extremely fine maker.

Length: 7 inches, 17.5cm.
