An extremely rare pair of George I Sugar Nips made in Dublin circa 1725.
209633
The Sugar Nips are of the early plain design, with circular finger rings and arms decorated with reeded bands. The grips are beautifully modelled as raying shells. Each finger ring is marked with the crowned harp. Nips of this early date are rare from London, however to find examples from Dublin is extremely rare.
