The Label is silver gilt and of broad rectangular form with a gadrooned border and large applied scallop shell in each top corner, from which the suspension chain is attached. The label is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse. This piece is from a very rare set of labels, made by Emes & Barnard. We have had one other from this set over all the years, this being engraved for F.Sauce. An extremely rare, desirable, example.
