This very rare dish is broad rectangular in form with a raised edge decorated with applied reeding. The two oval side handles are also decoarted with reeding and the main body is engraved with a contemporary family Crest. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse. Asparagus Dishes are very rare and the work of Michael Plummer is rarely seen in comparison to his relative William Plummer.
