An extremely rare 'Bucket' Cream Pail of large size made in London in 1795.
267708
This very rare example is modelled as a large milk maids pail and the main body has a beaded rim and swing handle. The sides are unusually pierced with horizontal pails and roundels, as well as a wide band of stylised flower heads. The sides are also engraved with various prick dot designs and the front displays a vacant cartouche. This piece is in excellent condition and has a blue glass liner. This is the first time we have seen a pail of this size and design.
