An extremely rare and outstanding set of three George III Graduated Beakers, with their original case, made in London in 1806 by Charles Chesterman II

The Beakers are plain in design with slightly tapering sides and display a protruding rib on the rim. Each is engraved with a contemporary Stag Crest and all have very fine original interior gilding. The Beakers are of graduated sizes and fit inside each other so that they may be contained within their original red Moroccan leather case. We sold these beakers some years ago and they were most probably for hunting or travelling, however we have not seen any other examples as early as this, as they are not common from the George III period. Both the beakers and case are in excellent condition.

Height of Beakers: 3.5 inches, 3.3 inches & 3.1 inches respectively.

Total weight: 14oz.
