An extremely rare and exceptionally fine Armorial Toilet Water Jar made in London in 1845 by the Royal firm of John Samuel Hunt.

The heavy cut glass, square, toilet water jar has spear cut sides and a star cut base. The silver gilt mounts accomodate a tapering cut glass stopper and the silver gilt cover is modelled and cast, to the finest standard, as the coronet of a Baron. This rare piece is of the finest quality, as would be expected from this Royal firm and is very well marked. It almost certainly was with the rare scent bottle, of the same design, date and maker, in the archive of this website. Toilet Water, Eau De Toilette, Jars are extremely rare.
