An extremely fine & beautiful George III Gold Eye Glass made most probably in London circa 1810.
271943
The Eye Glass is made of gold and displays an oval frame, containing the glass, beautifully chased with scrolls and flower heads. This example has a circular chased finger ring and would have been made for a very grand individual, right at the top end of the market. This piece is in excellent condition. It is unmarked, as gold was not required to be marked at this date, however it was most probably made in London circa 1810.
