An extremely fine and rare 'Fox' Barrel Mustard Pot made in London in 1864 by George Fox.

The Mustard Pot is finely and realistically modelled as a barrel and is engraved with linear bands to simulate the planks and staves. The hinged cover has a cast scroll thumb pieces and the Pot has a plain scroll thumb piece. Fox barrel mustard pots are very rare and are of exceptionally fine quality, as would be expected from these famous workshops.
