An exceptional George III Ice Spade made in London in 1817 by William Eley & William Fearn.



The Ice Spade is modelled in the Hourglass pattern which is double struck.  This piece has a wide spade shaped bowl and the top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest.  The Ice Spade is of an exceptional gauge of silver, is in excellent condition and is very well marked, including a journeyman's mark identifying the specific individual within the Eley & Fearn workshops who made this piece.
