An exceptional George III Drum Mustard Pot made in London in 1778 by Robert Hennell.

The Mustard Pot is modelled in the Drum form, with a reeded base and beaded rim. The sides are most unusually pierced with floral scroll work and a central band of blue bells. The sides also display bright cut and prick dot designs. The cover is engraved with bright cut and floral designs and displays a fan shaped pierced thumb piece. The leaf capped scroll handle, is engraved with a Crest. This example displays very unusual piercing and is in excellent condition - a beautiful piece.
