A very unusual pair of early George III Sugar Tongs made in London circa 1765 by Faux & Love.

The Tongs have very unusual slender arms decorated with bead work and flower heads. The arched top displays a reeded border and is engraved with a foliate sprig. The unusual arms terminate is raying shell grips. The tongs are in excellent condition and are marked with the makers mark and sterling mark.
