A very rare William III Britannia Standard Squeezie Spice Box made in London circa 1695 by Thomas Pritchard.

The Spice Box is oval in form and is engraved on the cover and sides with foliate scroll work and bands of acanthus motifs. The cover is inset with a domed central agate panel surrounded by a beaded mount. The base is also engraved with pluming scrolls surrounding a central reclining nude figure, possibly Venus. The cover has a snap shut mechanism and can be released by squeezing the sides. The interior is marked with the makers mark of PR with a crown above for Thomas Pritchard.
