A very rare set of six George II Scots Fiddle Pattern Teaspoons made in Edinburgh circa 1745 by John Welsh.

The Teaspoons are modelled in the very rare Scots Fiddle pattern, a design peculiar to Scotland. Each has a drop on the back of the bowl and the top of each stem is engraved with a set of contemporary initials in typical Scottish script.
