A very rare set of letter Wine Labels of exceptional quality. Made in London in 1842 by Reilly & Storer.

The three wine labels are modelled to simulate the letters M, P and C. Each are most unusually engraved with a full Coat of Arms and the script initials MM. The Arms are those of the Mainwaring family. This is a very unusual feature, as full Armorials do not appear on wine labels hardly at all. The weight and guage of each piece is also exceptional. They are the heaviest labels of their type we have offered over all of the years and each is very well marked.

Length: 1.35 inches, 3.38cm.

Weight: 3oz.
