This exceptional set are circular in form, with wide lobed curved sides rising to a plain rim and a finely gilded interior. All pieces are in excellent condition and are fully marked on the base and, unusually, with the sterling mark on the rim. This is a most unusual design which was also made in Dublin and is influenced by the salt cellar designs of the late Seventeenth Century. William Eaton was a very fine maker, of innovative designs. Various examples of his work can be seen in our archive.
