A very rare pair of cast Armorial 'Palm' pattern Cake Forks made in London in 1882 by George Adams.
267668
The Forks are beautifully modelled in the rare Palm pattern and are double struck. The top of the stems, however, display a cast family Crest with Gothic initials below, a very rare feature on flatware. It would have been the grandest families who had their Crests and Armorials cast onto their silver, instead of engraving them. The Forks are in excellent condition and are very well marked.
