A very rare 'Knight' Fish Slice made in London in 1816 by William Knight.
257739
This very rare Fish Slice is of a design which was produced exclusively by the Knight workshops. The Slice is modelled in the fiddle pattern, with a gadrooned edge. The centre of the blade is pierced and engraved with a panel of four fish, and a small fish at the end, all surrounded by scroll work. The top of the handle is engraved with contemporary script initials. The Slice is very well marked and is of the finest quality, which William Knight was famous for. This is a very scarce design.
