A very rare George IV Wine Label made in Birmingham in 1826 by Ledsam, Vale & Wheeler.

This very unusual design is broad rectangular in form, with a domed top, and very unusual outer border pierced and engraved with twisted trailing vines and grapes. The central panel is pierced for Claret, surrounded by a prick dot border. This is the first time we have seen this very rare design.
