A very rare George III Wine Label made in Sheffield in 1776 by Richard Morton & Company.

The Label is of the crescent form with a beaded border. This example is engraved for R.PORT and is fully marked on the reverse. Wine Labels from Sheffield only four years after the assay office was established are extremely rare.
