A very rare George III Mustard Pot made in London in 1786 by Podio & Peterson.

The Mustard Pot is of a very unusual design and has a plain Barrel shape with a reeded rim and base. The hinged cover terminates in a Classical acorn finial and the flying scroll handle is attached to the main body with a tri-furcated moulding. This example is in excellent condition, has a blue glass liner and is very well marked on the base and the cover. This is a most unusual design and was almost exclusively produced by the scarce partnership of Podio & Peterson.

Height: 3.5 inches, 8.75 cm.

Diameter: 2.5 inches, 6.25cm.
