A very rare George III Muffin Dish made in London in 1805 by John Emes.

The Muffin Dish has a circular base with raised edge decorated with a band of Greek Key designs. The domed cover also has a lower Greek key band and terminates in an acanthus leaf and berry finial. Georgian Muffin Dishes are especially rare and it is many years since we last offered one for sale.
