A very rare George III Caddy Spoon made in London in 1810 by Thomas Freeth.
373730
The Caddy Spoon is modelled as a very unusual scoop with flared gilded bowl displaying a partly hooded rear section, with scalloped edge. This example also has a very elegantly shaped handle. This is the first time we have seen this design and the spoon is in excellent condition, with crisp marks.
Length: 3.75 inches, 9.38cm.
