The Caddy Spoon is modelled in Pembertons very rare Octagonal Bowl design, with raised sides decorated with vertical panels of herring bone design. The centre displaying a plain oval, with octagonal frame. This spoon is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the loop handle. This is a particularly rare design and a similar bowl form is shown in Caddy Spoons, by Captain John Norie, Plate 43, fig b.
