A very rare George III Breakfast Dish made in London in 1774 by Burrage Davenport.

The Dish is oval in form with a raised beaded rim and two plain circular carrying handles. The domed pull off cover terminates in a silver and ivory finial and both the base and cover are engraved with a contemporary Crest. The base is fully marked and both handles are marked with the sterling mark. The cover is also fully marked. Breakfast Dishes of this unusual size are very rare and are often made by Barrage Davenport.
