A very rare 'Eye' motif Scent Etui made in Birmingham in 1794 by Samuel Pemberton.
365018
The Etui is of an unusually large size and is of tapering form. The bottom section is engraved, on the front and reverse, with a bright cut shield containing script initials, with tied ribbons above. The hinged cover displays the unusual engraved eye motif, also on both sides. This example is very well marked and contains a glass scent bottle and stopper. This is one of the largest scent etuis which we have ever offered and is most unusual with the eye design.
