A very fine William IV silver mounted Travelling Inkwell made in London in 1834 by Charles Rawlings.

The Inkwell is of a large square form with star cut glass base. The silver mounts are decorated with reeding and the hinged cover is engraved with a circular crisp scroll work cartouche containing a set of contemporary script initials.
