A very fine set of four George III Sauce Ladles made in London in 1776 by Walter Tweedie.

The Ladles have beautiful deep raying shell bowls and Old English Pattern stems which are decorated with a bright cut border. The top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest. The Ladles are all in excellent condition and are very well marked. Walter Tweedie was a very fine flatware maker which is shown with these ladles.
