A very fine set of four George III Salt Cellars made in London in 1802 by Henry Nutting.

The Salt Cellars have circular bowls and stand on a pedestal foot decorated with reeding. The sides rise to a reeded rim and the main body is engraved with a contemporary Crest. The interiors display fine gilding and the feet each have a clear set of hallmarks. Henry Nutting was a very fine maker, however pieces from his workshop are scarce.

Diameter at the rim: 2.9 inches, 7.25cm.

Weight: 17oz, the set.
