These fine coasters are circular in form and display pierced and chased trailing vine sides in raised relief. The decoration is in excellent condition. The sides rise to an everted rim which is unusually decorated with an egg and dart border and a finely beaded band. The coasters also display a stepped band at the base and have turned boxwood bases, with a central circular silver boss. The main bodies are both well marked and are in quite excellent condition, the sides being of a good gauge of silver.
